Botha House is located less then 1 hour’s drive South of the Durban City centre in the small coastal village of Pennington. There are no bus or train services that take you directly to and from Durban, however travelling on our national roads by motor vehicle is straightforward and well sign-posted. If you’re hiring a car, just remember that we drive on the left!!!
Our new international airport lies just North of Durban and travelling time to and from Botha House is approx. 1 hour + 30 minutes.
We also offer airport transfers for all guests so should you require this service, please enquire with us when booking.

Directions:
- Take N2 South from Durban towards Port Shepstone
- Take Exit 93 (Esperenza/Sezela)
- Turn left onto R102 at the top of the off-ramp
- Continue approx. 7 km towards Pennington
- Turn right into Pennington Drive
- After approx. 800 m turn right into Minerva Rd. (look out for Umdoni Golf sign)
- Continue straight to Gravel Road (Don Knight Ave.) through Security Control
- At the top of the rise, turn left into the gates of Botha House
For directions travelling North from
Port Shepstone, turn right onto the R102 at the top of the Exit 93
offramp and continue as above.
